We’re delighted to announce Share an innovative new way to share files using Collabor8online.
Businesses have now recognised that sharing files by email may seem easy at first but invariably turns out to be problematic and leads to confusion, errors and delays. perhaps even more importantly, in these security conscious times, businesses with compliance issues have had to recognise that email simply is NOT secure.
Collabor8online of course ticks all the relevant boxes, quick, low-cost (you can have unlimited users) AND secure, but there was room for improvement and that’s where the new EasyShare feature comes in.
If you populate a folder with content you’d like to share – simply click on the EasyShare button and you can grant any number of users to access to that folder. The system will automatically send them secure login details with password, they get to share your files, you get to control who has access (and the system will even tell you when they’ve logged in and downloaded a copy).

We recognise that all users needs are not the same and that for some, the ease of sharing quickly outweighs security concerns in some instances. Expanding on our EasyShare principle FileShare going to go one step further and allow you to share content with users who are not even registered on your system! For security reasons this will be available on a file by file basis and will be achieved by sending a secure or link by email to your intended recipients. From that link, the user will be able to download the file directly, without the need to login to collaborate online first.
For security reasons the link will expire after a predetermined period but you will have the choice of leaving the document online (so that you can resend the link if needs be) or allowing it to also to expire (be automatically deleted) after a predetermined time for enhanced security.
